Here is the trailer to our little Indian gem, Ashish Pant\u2019s social thriller <\/strong>ULJHAN \u2013 THE KNOT<\/strong><\/a>. This film is our personal pride<\/strong> as a team, for the entire soundtrack \u2013 mean EVERYTHING you hear<\/strong> \u2013 was created organically at RESPIRANO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luigi Porto<\/strong><\/a> <\/a>curated the sound design and the music together<\/strong>, being involved in the project from the early script stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a sound designer, he was leading the production sound team and worked in constant contact with the amazing sound mixer Pranshul Shukla<\/strong><\/a> in Lucknow<\/strong> (while he was in his studio in NY working on the music to Arb\u00ebria<\/strong><\/a>) and after the last shooting day, he started working on the new score with the director that had returned to his New York home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music was recorded at Martin Patrych Memorial Studio<\/strong><\/a> in the Bronx, while Marco<\/strong> <\/a>and his assistants were crafting the complex foley<\/strong> of the film, that involves a fair amount of off-screen narration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the premixes have been approved in NY<\/strong> by the director, the film went to our facilities in Rome<\/strong> for the mixage, also under the supervision of the producer<\/strong> Kartikeya Singh<\/strong><\/a>. Stefano<\/strong><\/a> worked his magic for 4 weeks<\/strong>, in constant communication with Luigi to create a unique blend of sound and music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After being showcased at Cannes<\/strong> at the script stage, the film got to several festivals <\/strong>including an US premiere at Santa Barbara Film Festival<\/strong><\/a> and the Asian premiere at Shanghai International Film Festival<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
