Respirano Records

is a label and distro established in 2021 in New York City.

Yes, we’re born in 2021, when nobody was printing albums and no bands were performing. Our artists should show the same kind of bravery.

We are based in uptown New York, but we focus on acts and bands coming from all across the globe, living between the realms of  rock, psychedelia, and art music.

A native New Yorker, composer and musician Ray Lustig’s production ranges from symphonic and experimental opera-theater to songwriting.  His music is performed in concert halls, theaters, and festivals around the world, sometimes literally — his 2013 Latency Canons was the first orchestral piece to be premiered simultaneously at Carnegie Hall and elsewhere, with an orchestra made up of ensembles on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean remotely connected via the internet.

Ray lives in Washington Heights, Manhattan, and teaches Composition and Advanced Composition at the Juilliard Extension.

Composer, producer, sound designer, Luigi  was born in Italy and currently resides in New York City. He feels equally at home in a rock venue and in the orchestra hall.

Beyond Respirano, his albums are released on Cold Current Prod., Snowdonia Dischi, Cineploit, and distributed on Audioglobe and Light in the Attic.

His symphonic music has been performed at venues worldwide including Carnegie Hall, La Croisette, Casino di Sanremo. Luigi has scored films that have been screened internationally (Cannes, Shanghai, BAFTA, Santa Barbara to name a few).
